From the Sarca Valley and Arco, thanks to a mild microclimate and sun-kissed walls even in winter, climbing knows no seasons. In summer, the range expands toward the great rock architectures of the Brenta Dolomites and the massive granite walls of the Adamello, making this area a true four-season climbing destination.
In the Dolomites, it’s not just dolomite: the variety of rock is extraordinary. You can move from the rough, technical porphyry of the Lagorai to the compact granite of Cima d’Asta and the Adamello, which together form the largest granite mountain chain in the Alps.
On the Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites, limestone offers legendary routes reaching 1,200–1,300 meters in length—true big-wall adventures. Nearby, the Vallaccia, part of the same mountain group, features vast slabs of rock, often sculpted with pockets and small holes, allowing for an elegant, technical, and sustained style of climbing.
The dolomite of the great mountain groups is world-famous: Sella–Pordoi, Mesules, Rosengarten, Puez, Fanes, Odle, Civetta, Tofane, Sassolungo, Tre Cime, and Brenta. Names that evoke historic lines, majestic walls, and unforgettable panoramas.
The closest destinations for multi-pitch climbing include the Brenta Dolomites, Rosengarten, Cima d’Asta, Sella–Pordoi, and the Presanella—places where every ascent becomes an experience of discovery and pure vertical emotion.
