Renowned because it is spectacular, this crossing of the Brenta Dolomites passes over limestone and dolomite rocks, winding among the tall and fascinating towers and spiers that characterize this unique landscape, the result of the telluric movements of hundreds of millions of years ago.
With enough physical training to climb 700-800m in altitude per day and in the absence of vertigo (some points are breathtaking!), you can join our guides through this exciting itinerary, learning progression and safety techniques and getting their feedback on your attitudes and abilities, basing on which they will advise you about other paths that you may tackle independently later on.

The crossing takes from 2 to 6 days, depending on your time and physical preparation, passing from hut to hut with overnight stays at high altitude. If you still have energy left after you reached the hut, you can ask your guide to let you try rock-climbing on the equipped crags nearby the huts (no extra cost).

It is highly recommended to book the trip well in advance to be able to grant enough beds in the huts, especially in the peak months of Jul-Aug-Sep.

OPTIONS DAYS & ITINERARIES:
the approach is always by the Groste' cable car (departure from Campo Carlo Magno, Campiglio), then on foot towards the paths to take the crossing in a clockwise direction (NE> SW> NE).
The chosen via ferratas are: Benini, Sosat, Bocchette Alte, Bocchette Centrali, Brentari, Castiglioni, Martinazzi.
By choice we do not offer one-day trips (although some itineraries make it possible) because we don't like to experience (and let others live) the mountain in a 'hit and run' mode, for us it's unthinkable to make so much effort to climb up and then descend quickly, giving up the magnificent view of the shades of pink that flood the Brenta towers at sunset and waking up at the first light of dawn, waiting for the sun's rays to warm the crisp air on a typical Dolomite morning.

#2 DAYS:
a) Benini + B. Alte (night at hut Tuckett);
b) B. Alte + B. Centrali (night at hut Alimonta);
c) Sosat + B. Centrali (night at hut Alimonta);
for all options return on the normal path 3-4h to Vallesinella, then shuttle bus to Campiglio / Campo Carlo Magno.

#3 DAYS:
a) Benini + Sosat + B. Centrali (nights at huts Tuckett, Alimonta);
b) Benini + B. Alte + B. Centrali (nights at huts Tuckett, Alimonta);
for both options return on the normal path 3-4h to Vallesinella, then shuttle bus to Campiglio / Campo Carlo Magno.

#4 DAYS:
Benini + Sosat + B. Centrali + Brentari (nights at huts Tuckett, Alimonta, Pedrotti);
return by jeep and shuttle bus or on a normal path 3-4h then shuttle bus to Campiglio / Campo Carlo Magno.

#5 DAYS:
Benini + Sosat + B. Centrali + Brentari + Castiglioni (nights at huts Tuckett, Alimonta, Pedrotti, Agostini);
return downhill on the normal path 3h towards Lake Vallagola, then shuttle bus to Campiglio / Campo Carlo Magno.

# 6 DAYS:
Benini + Sosat + B. Centrali + Brentari + Castiglioni + Martinazzi (nights at huts Tuckett, Alimonta, Pedrotti, Agostini, XII Apostoli and Brentei);
after the night at the Brentei hut, return on the normal path 3h to Vallesinella, then shuttle bus to Campiglio / Campo Carlo Magno.
