Ice and Mixed Climbing - On Waterfall and Mixed 'Dry'

Making your way up magical blue columns with your ice-pick and crampons, which in summer are nothing more than damp patches on the rock face but with the cold they transform into magnificent ice structures creating the perfect climbing context.

Our Mountain Guides will accompany you on some fantastic icefalls, frozen waterfalls and “dry” climbs. They will help you identify ice conditions, temperature, plasticity and brittleness. They will help you with the preparation of equipment and search and rescue procedures with transceiver, probe and shovel.


From December to April/May, depending on ice conditions.


We have a lot of options Autumn beginning Winter and spring without much snow , Dolomites, Langkofel, Brenta, Adamello Presanella Mont Blanc, Alp du Daufinè.


Boots with crampons, ice-picks, harness, helmet, thermos flask, dry fruit, energy bars.

What to wear

Two pairs of socks, long sleeved/legged undergarments (arms and legs) possibly in fleece or microfiber, 2 fleece or Polartech tops with high collar, softshell or Schoeller pants, waterproof Goretex pants, windproof Gore-tex jacket and down/synthetic jacket, light and thick gloves, cap to be worn under your helmet, ski-mask and goggles/sunglasses, sun cream with high UV protection.
